Built on the low-volume FR last, the Vapour V features a slightly asymmetrical, moderately downturned profile that provides both comfort and performance. The multi-panel microfiber upper and padded air mesh tongue work seamlessly with dual Velcro straps, ensuring a snug fit and secure heel hold right out of the box.

A full-length Flexan midsole paired with Scarpa’s Bi-Tension rand system delivers optimum support underfoot, while the Vibram XS Edge rubber outsole guarantees precise edging and long-lasting durability. This iteration replaces the previous M70 toe rand with the stiffer, low-stretch Ilga rubber rand from the Instinct series, improving toe-point stability, edging precision, and overall durability.

Despite its reputation as a mid-range shoe, the Scarpa Vapour V’s advanced multi-panel construction, premium materials, and precise fit demonstrate that it’s a high-performance climbing tool suitable for serious climbers.
