Orders & Shipping

What is the cut-off time for same-day dispatch?

All weekday orders placed before 4pm (UK time) will be dispatched the same day.

Do you offer free delivery?

Yes — free UK shipping (Royal Mail Tracked 48) is available on all orders over £75. See our shipping page for full details.

What shipping methods do you use?

Royal Mail Tracked is our standard delivery method. Parcelforce is generally used for deliveries over 3kg. Full tracking is provided with every order.

Where can I find my tracking number?

Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive an email with your tracking number. You can track your parcel at royalmail.com.

Where are orders shipped from?

All orders are shipped from our fulfilment centre in Plymouth, UK.

Can I cancel or modify my order?

Due to swift handling, it's unlikely we can change or cancel an order once dispatched. If you need urgent changes, contact us as soon as possible. Orders placed after 2pm on Friday or during weekends cannot be cancelled or modified.

What should I do if my order hasn't arrived?

Please check your tracking on the Royal Mail website first. If that doesn't help, email us at info@boulderflash.com and we'll find a resolution. Contact us within 30 days of dispatch so we can arrange a replacement or refund.

Returns & Refunds

Can I return an item?

Yes. You may return any item within 100 calendar days from the date of delivery. Items must be unused, as new, with original labels/tags and packaging. See our full returns policy for details.

How do I return an item?

Fill out the return form included with your order, pack the goods securely, and send to our Plymouth address via a tracked service. Full instructions are on our returns page.

Who pays for return shipping?

Return postage is the customer's responsibility. We recommend using a tracked service and keeping your proof of posting.

How long does a refund take?

Once your return arrives at our warehouse, it will be checked and a refund issued using the same payment method. Please allow up to 5 working days from receipt.

Do you offer exchanges?

We don't offer direct exchanges. Simply return the unwanted item and place a new order for the correct size or colour — subject to stock availability.

Will there be any deduction on my return?

We are entitled to deduct an amount from the refund due to poor handling. Please avoid contact with dirt, chalk, dust, animal hair, or carpet fluff.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. There are no hidden service charges.

Is my payment information secure?

Your payment information is processed securely. We do not store credit card details nor have access to your credit card information.

Products & Sizing

How do I know what size climbing shoe to order?

Climbing shoe sizing varies significantly between brands. We recommend checking the manufacturer's size guide. If in doubt, go with your street shoe size or half a size down for a performance fit. Our shoe guide can help you narrow down the right shoe.

Why are prices so low?

Boulderflash is transitioning to a digital-only platform. All physical stock must be cleared, so everything is priced to sell. These are genuine products from top climbing brands at clearance prices — when it's gone, it's gone.

Is the stock genuine?

Yes, 100%. All products are genuine, brand-new items sourced directly from authorised distributors.

What happens if an item is out of stock?

Our stock levels are updated regularly. In the rare event an item sells out between your order and dispatch, we'll contact you immediately to offer a full refund.
