Moon Campus Rungs

The Moon Campus Rungs are essential for climbers seeking to improve finger and upper body strength. Installed on a slightly overhanging wooden campus board, these rungs challenge climbers to ascend without foot support. This setup isolates stress on fingers and arms, making it a powerful method for developing contact strength, power, and endurance.

Designed by Ben Moon to match Wolfgang Güllich’s famous campus board and the setup at the original School Room, each rung has a unique two-pocket layout for four fingers. With three depth options — 18mm, 23mm, or 29mm — climbers can tailor their board to specific training needs.

While Moon Campus Rungs are ideal for full climbing drills in series, the rungs can also serve individually as deadhang training tools. For those aiming to recreate the original setup, a 13-degree board angle closely matches Güllich’s classic design, offering a proven and effective training setup.
