Korey initially pursued traditional team sports but discovered climbing in 2014, which became transformative for him. He worked as a climbing instructor at a local gym while making frequent expeditions to outdoor locations like Red River Gorge in Kentucky. For the past few years, Korey has been climbing anywhere that inspires him, from the splitter cracks in Indian Creek, Utah, to the mega multi-pitches in the Wind River Range, Wyoming, and now resides in Boise, Idaho. Beyond climbing, he enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, and skateboarding.
